A Screen of Protection
Timid and shy? We needn’t be. God’s power resides in each of us, steering us to love God, ourselves, and others. When we live that life of love, we’re surrounded by a screen of protection. . .

Timid and shy? We needn’t be. God’s power resides in each of us, steering us to love God, ourselves, and others. When we live that life of love, we’re surrounded by a screen of protection. . .
God doesn’t want us to become so focused on the past that we miss what He’s doing in the present. He wants our hearts fixed on His love and strength, our eyes focused on the road before us. . .
God’s promises can seem outlandish to us at times. But there is nothing too hard or too wonderful for the Lord. He can do anything and everything if we have faith. . .
Help me to find humor, joy, and contentment in the simple things in life, Lord. Give me a happy heart that continues to feast on Your goodness—and then passes that joy along! Amen.
Jesus is outside the gate of your heart, waiting for you to open up your total being to His saving presence. Are you willing to let Him into not just a small corner of your life but your entire life?
God has called you to a specific task and is just waiting for you to take it on. All you need to do is believe and take that first step to become the vision God has of you. . .
At times, when a task lies before us, we begin to doubt our ability. When that happens, let God take over. Tap into His power and claim it for yourself. . .
We sometimes think we can run from our troubles. But when we come to the end of ourselves, God is there, ready to give us the wisdom we need but may not want. . .
We can sometimes find ourselves walking out of the Lord’s will only to suffer dire consequences. But thank God we have a Lord who is willing to give us a second chance. . .
When an army of troubles comes up against you, you have two choices. You can run and hide in fear or you can take courage, standing still and strong in your faith and God’s power, and watch what He does. . .
