And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’
hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
Exodus 17:11–134 NKJV
As God placed Aaron and Hur at Moses’ side, so He places our friends and family to support us when we simply can’t lift a hand. We were created to be a part of the body of Christ, whether that be a large church in Tennessee or an underground gathering in East Asia. There will be numerous times in our lives when the Lord doesn’t stop our personal battles; instead, He gives us the resources to finish the fight.
Isolation is a dangerous way to live. We are most vulnerable when alone, and most susceptible to temptation. Satan wants you to think that no one else in the church can relate to your circumstances. He wants you to continue in silence; it’s where he is most effective. But, if like Moses we allow our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to support us and we lean on them for encouragement and wisdom, we can endure the suffering. Do not estrange yourself from the body of Christ; it is one way the Lord continually calls to us and provides for us.
Lord, thank You for the body of Christ. Thank You for adopting me into Your family. Father, forgive me when I have taken my brothers and sisters in Christ for granted, and help me to engage in the church, rather than estrange myself. Amen.

Absolutely perfect! I just wanted you to know that there is a sister in my church who isolates herself and is going through such a hard time right now. I’m praying that this will bless her as we couldn’t have said it better ourselves to her. So thank you for allowing the Lord to use you! God bless!
