He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.
Psalm 105:41 NIV
Has a blessing ever appeared in your life that seemingly came out of nowhere?
The Israelites experienced this phenomenon time and time again as God led them out of Egypt. He opened the Red Sea, and they walked right through it on dry ground. He fed them bread from heaven called manna. He even opened a rock, and water gushed forth to sustain them.
You may be walking through a desert right now in your own life. Perhaps the job that seemed so secure is suddenly gone. Or a relationship has crumbled around you. Or a loved one has passed away. Regardless of the barren land in which you find yourself, know God hasn’t forgotten you.
Abide in Christ. Read His Word. Stand on His promises. He has called you more than a conqueror (see Romans 8:37), has promised you hope and a future (see Jeremiah 29:11), and will never leave nor forsake you (see Hebrews 13:5).
You may never see water flood out of a rock, but get ready. There are blessings ahead of you that will seem to come out of nowhere! God has a bright future in store for you and is able to do above and beyond what you can imagine in your wildest dreams.
Father, help me believe in miracles. I know You have a good future for me. Amen.
