The Lord yearns to direct each of our hearts so we understand the patient, enduring love of Christ. Why would anyone resist? It makes no sense, yet we’re all guilty of going our own way sometimes. . .

The hard truth is that we will fail at some point. But the wonderful assurance is that Jesus forgives us and doesn’t hold those moments against us. . .
