Share Your Story

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
Psalm 107:2–3 NIV

You have a story. Whether you came to know Christ as a natural consequence of growing up in a Christian home or found Him later in life, you have a story.

Scripture commands God’s people to tell their stories. Never feel that your story is boring or that you haven’t much to say. Jesus Christ saved you from eternal separation from a loving God. That’s a great story—one worth sharing!

Statistics show that most people come to know Jesus as their personal Savior through a family member or friend. Someone shares the Gospel, and another soul is won for the kingdom of God.

Spend some time before God today. Ask Him to show you that person in your sphere of influence who needs to hear your story. Perhaps you have long believed that others will see Jesus through your actions. This is true, but others may not know why you live as you do. Although they may see a difference in you, they will still be wondering what it is. Rather than waiting to be asked, step out in faith and share your story.

Father, give me the boldness I need to share how You saved me. I want others to know Your goodness and grace. Amen.
