How many times have you reached rock bottom only to find Jesus right there, the Rock at the bottom? Throughout scripture Jesus is referred to as “the rock of your salvation.” His truth is what lives in your heart and provides freedom to live your life with an eternal perspective.
Your relationship with Jesus is the only thing that really offers you safety and stability while you navigate the violent maelstroms life often brings. When you can’t depend on others, and maybe don’t even trust yourself, you have a trustworthy, rock-solid Savior. Forever He’s the one you can always depend on. He faithfully points you in the way you should go. When life spins out of control, He stops the merry-go-round, and with His truth, helps you to focus.

Jesus, You are my stability. You are my strength. I depend on Your truth to keep me in balance. Thank You, Lord for anchoring my soul today.
