The perceptive find wisdom in their own front yard; fools look for it everywhere but right here.
Proverbs 17:24 MSG
To study Proverbs 17:24, let’s look at two other versions of the same verse:
A man of understanding sets skillful and godly Wisdom before his face, but the eyes of a [self-confident] fool are on the ends of the earth (AMPC).
Wisdom is directly in front of an understanding person, but the eyes of a fool are looking around all over the world (GW).
Having read through these three different translations, did you notice a common theme when it comes to trusting God. What is it? It’s right in front of you. In fact, it’s a characteristic that many Christians claim Solomon had: wisdom. To trust God means asking for, and leaning on, His divine wisdom.
Want to trust God more today? Want to deepen your faith? Commit everything you’re doing today to Him. Ask Him for wisdom in all that you do. He’ll be faithful in providing wisdom to guide you. In fact, He’ll make it so clear it’ll be right in front of you.
Lord, when I ask for wisdom regarding a decision or situation in my life, I’m expressing, by faith, that I trust in You. Please provide wisdom for me in __________ area(s) of my life. Thank You for putting all I need right in front of me.

I enjoyed this devotional. God is so good and full of wisdom. We just have to ask him for it and he freely provides us with wisdom for whatever we are going through, right where we are at. God is so good.
