God Is in Control

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
Romans 11:33–36 NLT

It’s easy for us to believe that we carry the world on our shoulders. We tend to believe, though we may not admit it, that we alone make the world turn. We convince ourselves that worry, finances, or power will put us in control. But in truth, God is the One who controls all.

What a blessed peace awaits us! As you go about your day, rest in the assurance that God is in control—not you. God understands every feeling you experience, and He can comfort you. God knows the best steps for you to take in life, and He is willing to guide you. He is above all and knows all, yet He is never out of reach.

Set your eyes firmly on the Lord, and He will care for you.

Lord, please let this truth sink deep into my heart today so that I may live in joy and peace. Please guide me by Your wisdom and provide for me according to Your riches. I praise You because You are good!
