You Were Born to Worship

“I will praise You with my whole heart; before the gods I will sing praises to You. I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
Psalm 138:1–2 NKJV

A music store is filled with potential—beautiful instruments just waiting for the musician to play them. From the majestic grand pianos and sea of colorful and sleek guitars, to elegant violins and harmonious flutes—every single instrument holds within it the potential for beautiful and creative music. But without someone to play them, they can never achieve their purpose.

You were born to worship—to live, to move in God. You were created to be an instrument of praise. Worship from your lips ushers you into His presence and brings Him pleasure.

One of the greatest gifts you can give God—aside from your heart through salvation—is worship. Take time to fully express your adoration of Him. Invite Him to show you who He has created you to be. As you become one with Him, your life becomes a song sung for Him.

Lord, I praise You. Thank You for Your lovingkindness and truth. I want to be an instrument of praise to You. May my life bring You pleasure in all I do.
