What Is Your Prayer Request?

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying.
Ephesians 6:18 NIV

What burdens your heart today? Is there a trial that engulfs you or someone you love? Present your request to your heavenly Father with the assurance that He will act on your behalf—either by changing your circumstances or by changing you. He is always concerned for you.

But be patient. What we may view as a non-answer may simply be God saying, “Wait” or “I have something better for you.” He will answer. Keep in mind that His ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts.

God knows what He’s doing, even when He allows trials in our lives. We might think that saving a loved one from difficulty is a great idea—but God, in His wisdom, may decide that would be keeping them (or us) from an opportunity for spiritual growth. Since we don’t know all of God’s plans, we must simply lay our requests before Him and trust Him to do what is right. He will never fail us!

Father God, here are my needs. I lay them at Your feet, walking away unburdened and assured that You have it all under control. Thank You!
