We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance
with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,
do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Romans 12:6–8 NIV
What’s your gift? What’s your overarching talent or ability? Are you using your gifts to the fullest? Many women get so busy that they don’t take advantage of the gifts God has given them. Then they wonder why they’re ineffective or feel useless. When you’re flowing in the stream of God’s best (i.e., His perfect will), you’ll find plenty of opportunities to use those gifts. In fact, He just might open doors in ways that surprise—and terrify—and delight—you! God is pretty amazing like that! So brace yourself. Polish those gifts and prepare to use them. The word is out. God’s got big plans for you!
Thank You for opening doors, Lord, so that I can use my gifts for You. Lead me, step by step, in the right direction. I want to be useful to Your kingdom. I’ll trust the process, Father, and polish my gifts so I’m ready when the time comes. Amen.
