The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. . . .And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:11; Galatians 4:6 NLT
Timid and shy? We needn’t be.
God, the Giver of all things, sent us both His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Meanwhile, Jesus, who paved the way for us to reach God, acts as our mediator. At the same time, the Holy Spirit helps us to pray, discern right from wrong, and understand God’s Word.
This three-in-one power resides in each and every one of us, steering us to love God, ourselves, and others. When we live that life of love, we’re surrounded by a screen of protection that shields us from evil.
So, daughter of God, what need do you have to be afraid? You’ve a mighty triple power within, enabling you to say, “Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident” (Psalm 27:3 NLT).
So go now into the months ahead in love, knowing that with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit living and breathing within you, you have the courage to do all you have been called to do.
I am so blessed, Lord, to be guided, loved, and empowered by You, Your Son, and Your Spirit. I resolve to love and be strong in Your way. Amen.
